The audio specialist's processing of personal data

The audio specialist's privacy policy relates to how we process information about our customers. Our collection of information serves several purposes, including purchase processing, repair service, advice and marketing. You will also find our cookie policy here, where we explain how we handle your information and provide information on how you can object to this processing. This also includes instructions on how to manage and remove cookies.

We only handle ordinary personal data, and we attach great importance to you having control over which information we collect and how it is used. In many cases, you have the option of being deleted from our systems. You can change what you have agreed to at the bottom of this page at any time.

However, for legal reasons there are cases where we are required to store certain personal data in accordance with applicable legislation, such as the Bookkeeping Act.

The collected personal data is used primarily for the delivery of ordered products, communication via telephone, SMS and e-mail, including the sending of newsletters if you have signed up. We also use the information for targeted advertising on other websites and social media, if we have obtained your consent.

We are committed to ensuring the confidentiality and security of your personal data. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our privacy policy, please feel free to contact us.

Storage of your data

If you write a comment, the comment and its metadata are preserved. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of having them in a moderation queue.

For users who register on our site (if any), we also store the personal information they provide for their user profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (with the exception that they cannot change their username). Site administrators can also view and edit that information.

We register your personal data in order to be able to deliver the goods to you. The personal information is registered with Lydspecialisten ApS and stored for five years, after which the information is deleted.

The data controller at lydspecialisten.dk is co-owner Steen Mortensen.

Your rights over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have posted comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also ask us to delete any personal data we have about you. You have these rights according to the Personal Data Act. Inquiries in this regard should be sent to: steen@lydspecialisten.dk. This does not include any type of data that we are required to store for administrative, legal or security reasons.

Cookies

We primarily use cookies to give you the best possible experience on our site. We do this because cookies enable us to provide you with the most relevant content, but you can opt out of all cookies that are not technically necessary at any time.

If you write a comment on our website, you can choose to save your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so you don't have to fill in your information again when you post another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

When you log in, we will set up a number of cookies and save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen selection cookies last for one year. If you select "Remember me", your login will last for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will disappear.

Where do we send data to?

Visitors' comments may be checked by an automatic spam detection service.

We also collaborate with a number of other companies that store and process data. The companies only process information on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.
